The second part of the configuration is the Report Table Editor.

The editor page allows the user to fully design the report table with settings for the Table itself, the layout of the cells and the individual cell settings. Each table is allocated a unique table ID that is used on the dashboard widget configuration (there is more detail on the TableID further on in this document).

Users of the Report Table Editor should be aware of the structure of their 4D Analytics database (and any other databases applicable) and the layout of their dashboard or reporting. This will help to ensure that when they are configuring a table they know where the 4D Analytics points/properties are in the structure. How it’s going to be accessed from the website (e.g., via dashboard widgets or on a report) should also be considered when designing the table.
